Job Title: Regional Director
Reports To: Vice President
Position Summary:
Is responsible for the direction and administration of the programs and services provided by the company in region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Hiring/Supervision
Directs and coordinates major activities of the Program Managers and Qualified Professionals. Directly supervises Program Managers and Qualified Professionals. Holds ultimate responsibility for the supervision, hiring and termination of regions employees. Assures all hired staff meets criteria for the position they are to hold, including education, privileging and supervision. Responsible for monitoring overall performance of Program Managers and Qualified Professionals. This includes: performance evaluations, holding administrative supervisory conferences, and reviewing recommendations from the Program Managers regarding staff promotion or termination. Assure staff receives all State and Community Innovations mandated training. Coordinates with Corporate Administrative Assistant/ Corporate Trainer to schedule necessary staff training.
Client Care
Ensures the delivery of quality services to the individuals in their Region. Assure that programs and services are delivering care to individuals as ordered and requested by MD and referring and authorizing bodies
Documentation/Billing
Ensures compliance with statutory, certification, and licensure regulations / standards. Will comply with Corporate Compliance Program policies and procedures.
Will comply with all Corporate policies and procedures, HIPAA guidelines,
DHHS rules, and Medicaid state and federal guidelines Follows up Program Managers to ensure all requests from LME documentation review teams in regards to submitting additional supporting material and completing note corrections.
Other Duties
The Regional Director is responsible for the development and oversight of their programs and services to meet budget goals. Maintains effective relations with the LME and other community partners. Operates their Region within a Budget. Is accountable for the maintenance and condition of their programs. Must maintain control of Program assets. Ensures strategic and organizational policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
Education/Competency/Work Experience:
Must meet the education and experience requirements for QP certification set forth by the North Carolina Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services. Extensive supervisory experience and/or training.
Skills/Experience:
Must be familiar with and knowiedgeable in all Community Innovations, Inc. policies related to client care and staff requirements. Requires compliance with regulations and the rules of accrediting bodies by
continually monitoring the organization's service delivery and initiating changes as required. Ability to handle detailed, complex concepts and problems and makes rapid
decisions regarding administrative issues. Requires strong and appropriate supervisor relationships. Plans and meets deadlines. Previous supervisory experience. Demonstrates commitment to continued professional growth and development.
