CBC and it's family of providers is seeking a hard working, reliable and detail orientated purchasing coordinator to join our support team.

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Coordinator works closely with program operations and finance leadership to ensure all care and work environments are safe, supplied, and appealing, and that purchasing and support contracts for the ongoing functioning of CBC's offices are continuous and negotiated to the best advantage of CBC and its affiliates.

Primary Job Duties:

The Purchasing Coordinator shall be specifically responsible for the following:

• Receive and process regular purchases for day to day supplies, equipment, etc. in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Ensure proper approvals for purchases according to expense levels.
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal provider partners.
• Monitor inventory and supplies for day to day and emergency purposes to ensure adequate supply.
• Monitoring ongoing expenses across CBC and its subsidiaries for opportunities to consolidate vendors and achieve economies of scale.
• Review and monitor vendor agreements across subsidiaries, and work with vendors actively to negotiate optimal pricing and service.
• Working with subsidiary leadership around ongoing inventory and support needs to ensure all offices and care environments are supplied adequately, without overstocking materials.
• Coordinate capital expenditures with Finance Department/Controller and EHS Director.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Evening and weekend work, on occasion
• Travel for meetings and on-site observation, sometimes overnight, to program/offices, on occasion
• Ability to read and communicate effectively
• Computer literacy, including proficiency with G Suite array of productivity tools (gmail, word processing and spreadsheet documents).
