Maintenance Technician

Overall Description:
The Maintenance Technician works closely with all CBC agencies and the Maintenance Lead to ensure
that all facilities are safe, clean, and well maintained, including the exterior for locations where it is our
responsibility.
Reports To:
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Lead and secondarily to the Environmental Health &
Safety Director.
Supervises:
None
Primary Job Duties:
The Maintenance Technician shall be specifically responsible for the following:
Work proactively with subsidiary leadership to ensure the facilities are safe and in good condition
cost-efficiently.
Perform lights, plumbing, and electrical work
Diagnose and repair minor appliance issues
Light construction and painting duties.
Maintain the exterior of any property where that falls under our responsibility.
Review and complete assigned tickets through the Mojo Helpdesk system.
Work with local staff to get any additional information needed for the tickets.
Arrange tasks to create the most efficient workday/week.
Handle emergencies that may arise
Regular walkthrough of the facilities to check for needed repairs or maintenance and safety
issues.
Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
This is a full-time, exempt position, and due to the nature of the position, will require:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience
Valid Drivers license and clean driving record
Limited evening and weekend work, on occasion
Some travel may be required.
Ability to read and communicate effectively
Computer literacy, including proficiency with the Google array of productivity tools (Gmail, word
processing, and spreadsheet documents).
