Maintenance Lead

Overall Description:

The Maintenance Lead works closely with all CBC agencies and the Environmental Health and Safety Director to ensure that all facilities are safe, clean, well maintained and in good condition.

Reports To:

This position reports directly to the Environmental Health & Safety Director, and secondarily to the Controller

Supervises:

Maintenance Technicians

Primary Job Duties:

The Maintenance Lead position shall be specifically responsible for the following:

Work proactively with subsidiary leadership to make sure the facilities are safe and in good condition, in a cost-efficient manner

Coordinate and oversee a small maintenance team located across the state.

Light plumbing, electrical, appliance, and construction.

Maintain the exterior of any properties where that is company responsibility.

Manage unassigned tickets in the Mojo Helpdesk system

Review and complete assigned tickets through the Mojo Helpdesk system

Work with local staff to determine additional information needed for the tickets

Organize and arrange tasks to create the most efficient workday/week.

Handle any emergency situations that may arise

Regular walkthrough of the facilities to check for repairs or maintenance and safety issues.

Source vendors and obtain quotes when needed for tasks that cannot be handled in-house

Review and verify that any work by vendors is completed timely and correctly.

Coordinate with the Facilities manager for anything related to insurance, licensing, or Landlords

Assist with safety inspections and audits as needed.

Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

This is a full-time, exempt position, and due to the nature of the position, will require:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 7 years experience in the construction or maintenance field

Journeyman (or similar) industry Certification preferred

Criminal record check

Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Evening and weekend work, on occasion

Some limited travel may be required

Computer literacy, including proficiency with G Suite array of productivity tools (Gmail, word processing, and spreadsheet documents)

Excellent communication skills
