IT Support Assistant
Come join a great team with a critical mission! CBC and its Family of Providers are looking for an IT support assistant to join our team with a critical mission. We are looking for an experienced IT support person who cares deeply about the population we serve and helping us grow our business!
Summary
Position's primary focus may be in the areas of supporting the Chief Information Officer with IT projects and timelines, acting as a liaison between IT Support Center and appropriate internal teams, and training employees on appropriate processes and systems. May provide information to employees on established policies and procedures, or services provided.
Typical Duties
- Attends internal meetings in absence of CIO and is responsible for updating appropriate teams and following up on assigned tasks
- Assist with new company acquisitions on site (travel required)
- Attend and follow up on items from planning meetings
- Assist with training staff on Google, CBC website, and CBC Support Center
- Provide on-site support in conjunction with the IT team to the new acquisition
- Attend follow up meetings and completion of any assigned IT items
- Assist with training new and current employees on Google and IT Support Center use
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate;
- Designs and produces basic reports;
- Acts as a liaison between the IT Support Center and internal CBC teams for the computing operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns;
- Maintains records;
- Contributes to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required.
Requirements and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent with data processing training, computer operations training, or experience in a multi-operation system or production control environment preferred.
- Two or more years of related experience with computers and providing customer service in a technological environment.
- Ability to work remotely and travel to all CBC sites (as needed)
- Highly organized
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace (gmail, calendar, drive, meet)
- Basic computer skills including using Chromebooks and Windows computers
- Basic working knowledge of IT (networks, computers, copiers, etc)
- High-speed, reliable internet connection, cell phone service, and transportation
