IDD/ICF Licensed Practical Nurse
Must to be able to proved prescribed medical treatment along with care and services to the individuals with disabilities that we serve.
Responsible for monitoring medications, conducting nursing assessments and participating in all person-centered plans for our individuals served.
Conduct quality assurance checks and observations to ensure that all DSP's are monitoring the health and safety off all individuals efficiently.
Other responsibilities include:
- Assist RN and all other professional staff with delivering quality nursing services to all individuals that we support.
- Administer specified medications and makes sure that all expired medications are removed from circulation.
- Records the vitals of all individuals supported.
- Observes the mannerisms of all individuals supported and, when necessary, reports any strange behavior or apparent adverse reactions to treatment or medications.
- Acts as an advocate for all individuals we support with IDD.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to life between 20 and 50 pounds regularly.
- CPR certification (will be provided if not already acquired).
