Administrative Assistant

CBC HomeCare is looking to add a full time administrative assistant to our administrative team. 

Primary Purpose of Position: The primary purposes of this position are to provide efficient assistance in personnel and business functions, including providing assistance to our Direct Support Professionals with our online computer platforms. This position will have a primary work location and office responsibilities but will have job responsibilities and tasking which may originate from any CBC HomeCare Office.


Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide assistance to Direct Support Professionals, including technical support during the onboarding process to help them complete any new hire paperwork and in completing all new hire requirements. Monitor completion of the new hire process to expedite completion. Provide assistance, including technical support to Direct support professionals in using the online training platforms.

2. Handle phone calls and visitors in an efficient and pleasant manner, providing requested information and/or materials or referring the call to the appropriate individual; accurately taking messages and making them available to the appropriate individual.

3.Work closely with Training team to ensure Direct Support Professionals are scheduled for training as required. Maintain all databases, spreadsheets and notifications as required to ensure completion of training within established guidelines. 

4. Maintain strict confidentiality concerning all client information. Assist with monitoring timely input of progress notes by Direct support professionals to ensure compliance.


5. Accurately enter client and personnel information into electronic database/EHR or paper forms as needed. Check all data and form entry for accuracy and completeness.

6. Prepare and distribute required reports and monitor completion of required items on the report as needed in accordance with established deadlines.

7. Other duties as assigned, including such things as ordering supplies and assisting in preparation for training, meetings and any special projects as assigned.
