Administrative Assistant- 40 hour /week

CBC Suncoast is looking for a self motivated, detail orientated and personable administrative assistant add to the support team in our Gainesville location.


Position Summary:

  • Position reports to Salem's Executive Director and designee.
  • Position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring training for
    agency's front line and professional contract staff.
  • Maintaining, organizing, and securing agency's personnel files

Essential Functions:

  • Working with the leadership team including but not limited: Regional Managers, House Managers, and Clinical Supervisors will monitor current Human Resource practices.
  • Working with Human Resource Business Partner develop multiple business processes that promotes effective applicant recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more
    complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Compiling and maintaining paper, digital, and electronic employee
    records.
  • Ensure that agency's employees are in training compliance according to
    State, local, and Federal Medicaid personnel mandates.
  • Coordinate logistics and training for agency new hires and current staff.
  • Coordinating employee communication.
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and request related to the Human Resource Department.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required
    documents are collected and filed appropriately.

Education/Competency/Work Experience:


● High School Diploma or equivalent required. (Associate Degree or higher preferred).
● Demonstrates ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions.
● One year of experience working in an office setting as administrative
support.


Skills/Experience:

  • information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
  • Methods and practice of successful employment recruitment.
  • Perform highly complex and confidential work. Analyze a variety of personnel problems and make sound policy and procedural recommendations.
